Here at Queensmead Primary Academy we are pleased to have a great support team.
If you do have any concerns or worries or would like to speak to someone either in person or via e-mail or telephone then think about contacting Miss Hargreaves our Inclusion and Family Support Worker.
Miss Hargreaves is a full-time member of staff who supports both pupils and their families with a wide range of issues from health and wellbeing through to problems with housing. She has a wealth of experience and is happy to meet individual parents or families to signpost them to further services or support them in school.
She is also responsible for co-ordinating our fun and exciting parent events and Family Learning opportunities. You can find out more about these by checking the newsletters for information.
To arrange a meeting please use one of the following options:
- Speak to the school office to arrange a time/date to meet
- Telephone the school on 0116 2858518
- E-mail Miss Hargreaves direct at firstname.lastname@example.org
Miss Hargreaves is currently on Maternity Leave. Please contact the academy office to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have.
Anything that is discussed will be treated in the strictist of confidence. If you feel you can't speak to anyone then please don't hesitate to send an e-mail.

Chat Health is a text messaging service for parents to contact a public health nurse for advice on any health concerns that they may have about their child. This service operates Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm.
If you would like advice please text: 07520 615381.
The school nurse also holds drop-in sessions at the Academy on the first Wednesday of every month for parents to pop in and ask about any issues, questions or concerns that they may have about their child.
So far we have had a good turnout at these drop-in sessions and we hope that this continues.
